What I have learned

I have learned that I was very excited to be tagged and do the meme, but it seems that some kitties find in a nuisance. So next time I will just do what I've seen others do which is to write "I tag anyone who hasn't done it and wants to". Problem averted. I also found that I am honored to have lurkers on my site as long as they are real kitty lurkers and not a mean human who is trying to make fun of me. I lurked for awhile before I convinced Mom that I would like my own blog too. And sometimes I'm still like a lurker because I don't post for awhile or leave comments, but I'm still reading some of the kitty blogs. So please everyone, continue to read and comment on my blog. And if you get the urge to tag me... don't hold back!

Thanks to everyone for their understanding and support. I got worried that I was doing something irritating and didn't want to upset the other kitty bloggers.

Mattingly you are too cute to have anyone making fun of you. We 3 will help protect you!

We lurked, too, for about a month before Mom agreed to make our own blog. Now we love it.

The Empress has your back, Mattingly. If anyone wants to make fun of you, they have to come through me...and let me tell you, they don't want to come through me.

I still have my claws and I know how to be very sarcastic, if the situation forces me to. :)

Don't worry about offending. I worried about it at first, then realized I would rather have people reading my posts that understand me, then water-down my approach to please them.

The blog should be for your enjoyment. If others find it enjoyable, then it's a bonus!

Ditto what Kukka said! (And I think we all know where to go if we're needing protection, eh? Kukka kicks BUTT!)

Mattingly,

I wasn't trying to make fun of you yesterday; nor was I trying to offend you. If I have somehow offended you, I offer you my sincere apology.

I am glad that your surgery went well. You seem to have recovered quickly.

As for becoming the 'grown-up' cat, I meant that you did the adult thing when you found out that some of the other bloggers were weary of doing the meme (or tag) thing: you took responsibility for your actions and apologized to all of them. I meant it as a compliment. I do agree with the other commenters (and yourself) that you got just a little carried away by being tagged.

Again, if I have offended, I'm sorry.

Dear Mattingly and all other kitty bloggers,

I sincerely apologise again. I know now that I should not have done what I did. I'm sorry.

I suppose I just badly wanted to feel like a blogger. I saw the tag going on somewhere and I wanted to be involved and to involve my favourite bloggers.

I promise to observe better blogging etiquette and hope you will not ban me from your blogs.

Not a problem. I still like you lots and will keep visiting. I thing the whole tag and meme thing got out of hand way before you. And, Katonia, we've all felt that way before. Don't be so hard on yourself. We love you too!

Thanks everyone again for the support. Again I wasn't offended really, just worried about others offending me. Kukka-Maria... I'm glad you are a friend and not a foe! David E. Francis... you didn't offend me at all. Neither did you Katonia Scratchalot. Don't apologize for tagging people... you just wanted to participate and as others have said, if someone doesn't want to do a tag... they just don't have to! Now keep lurking on my site! I welcome all readers!!

Katonia and Athena ... you should join our blogging community. I started because I had a little story to tell and wasn't sure how long I would keep it going, and now I've been blogging for a year and a half.
